"I think I have always been interested in art and creating. Art was always my favorite subject in school and I went on to major in Fine Arts and Art History in college. Today, my husband and I own an art gallery in Paris, France, and many of the works we have exhibited there have been sources of inspiration for my compositions. After having begun to dabble in graphics in MS Paint in 1996, I started to experiment with other programs and finally decided that I liked Vue the best because of the wonderful natural scenes that can be created with that program.
As to the creation of art, inspiration can come in many forms: a walk in a park, visits to the country or seaside, viewing works in a gallery or museum. In my opinion the play of composition and light are probably the most important things to consider when creating art or doing photography. Light infuses a work and gives the composition a certain mood that compels and touches the viewer. It's probably the hardest thing to get right." |
